At this time there is no need for panic regarding EBOLA. No regional threats currently exist anywhere in Texas. There are no cases of Ebola Infection at Stamford Memorial Hospital nor known threats in the area. Preparing in Case Threat Evolves If a serious EBOLA risk does evolve locally it is good to know that Stamford Memorial Hospital is already taking steps to prepare. If someone you know has been to West Africa and is experiencing EBOLA symptoms please contact 911. Symptoms of EBOLA Include (Source CDC):  Fever (greater than 38.6�C or 101.5�F) Severe headache Muscle pain Weakness Diarrhea Vomiting Abdominal (stomach) pain Unexplained hemorrhage (bleeding or bruising)Symptoms may appear anywhere from 2 to 21 days after exposure to Ebola, but the average is 8 to 10 days. REPORT EBOLA PATIENT SYMPTOMS TO HOSPITAL HERE Recovery from Ebola depends on good supportive clinical care and the patient's immune response.
